    Download the extension

    Click the Download button below to save termsly-extension.zip to your computer.

    Unzip the file

    Locate the downloaded file and unzip it. You'll get a folder named termsly-extension.

    Open Chrome extensions

    In Chrome (or any Chromium browser such as Edge, Brave, Arc, or Opera), go to chrome://extensions in the address bar.

    Enable Developer mode

    Toggle the Developer mode switch in the top-right corner of the extensions page.

    Load unpacked

    Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped termsly-extension folder. Termsly™ is now installed.

    Seeing a 'Forbidden' page?

    After loading the extension, Chrome may open a new tab that says 'Forbidden' - this is completely normal and expected. It happens because the extension's internal page is restricted from direct access. Simply close (X out of) that tab. Termsly™ is installed and ready to use.

    Browse the web

    Visit any site with a Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or signup flow. A popup will appear, then click Summarize to get the plain-English breakdown.
